The One That Got Away

Okay, every diehard fisherman has told a tale or two about the one that got away.  WELL NOT THIS TIME, BABY! Picture this, you are on a chartered boat on the deep sea, river or lake in a remote part of Alaska (Pedro Bay to be exact) and the fish are practically jumping in your rig. We’re talking Rainbow Trout, Halibut, Arctic Char, Arctic Grayling, and five different species of Salmon, including The King (No, not Elvis reincarnated, King Salmon.).

Sounds like a fisherman’s dream, am I right? So you are probably wondering how you get to this magical fantasy land that exists in your dreams, and yes, in Alaska approximately 180 miles from the nearest road. The answer, my friend, is simple. Be a total suck up, brown noser to Allen Johnston next time he goes up there and needs a fishing buddy OR (and this one is more likely to happen), get entered into Johnston Technologies’ 10K to AK drawing.

All you, or more likely your company, need to do, is purchase $10,000 worth of products from Johntech and you will be entered into the most awesome drawing EVER (Well maybe not ever. I mean, winning a cool million tax free would totally rock…but its not happening anytime soon.)

Feeling excluded because you work hard but don’t actually purchase the products? No problem. If you are an engineer or field technician who provides Johnston Technologies with a lead which results in a $10,000 purchase order or you suggest that a company purchase $10,000 worth of Johnston Technologies products and they do, you will be entered into the drawing too.  Actually, you will be entered into the drawing once for every $10,000 spent. How cool is that?

So what exactly does the winner get? From August 9-16 (Sorry dude, already booked, no date changing on this hard to get reservations at, hot commodity.) you get to spend an entire relaxing week with another person of your choice (can be your wife, significant other, or long time fishing buddy who tells tales as big as yours).

Johnston Technologies will fly you and whoever to Rainbow Bay Lodge in Pedro Bay, Alaska where you will stay in deluxe accommodations at a world class resort during prime fishing season. Incredible dining, remote fly-out trips (as in you gotta get on a plane), brown bear sightings, moose feeding, and the most incredible scenery you can imagine, are all the norm at this rustic remote area.

Hey, I just thought of something…next time Judy Garland (Dorothy) starts belting out “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, you just might get visions of Rainbow Lodge in your head (instead of evil flying monkeys and ruby shoes). And then you might order $10,000 worth of products from Johnston Technologies. And then you will be entered into a 10K to AK drawing. And then you have the possibility of not telling a tale about the one that got away, because it won’t. Ohhh yeah. Now we’re talking
